Being around computers from an early age and having a programmer as father, it was clear fairly early that I would follow in his footsteps and become a software engineer. Had my first contacts with programming in Basic at the age of 14, then kept on studying through high-school and university.
Switched to Java and enterprise-level projects in 2003, and this is what I’ve been doing ever since.
More recently I’ve become interested in mobile development, especially for the Android platform. Together with a friend we’ve held a couple of workshops and spoke at conferences on this subject, as well as publishing an article in a specialty magazine.
Besides programming I’m fascinated by technology and gadgets as well as by non-technical stuff. My hobbies range from microcontrollers and photography to electronic music, skiing and hiking.
I’ve started this blog to share some of my experience, as well as interesting stuff that I discover while programming. Feel free to leave me a comment if you want to get in touch with me.
